OneM2M released on late December some interesting videos about the annual workshop in Sophia-Antipolis and changes brought in the release 2 of that well-known IoT standards.

On behalf of Wise-IoT and Fiesta-IoT projects, EGM participated in the event presenting a demonstration about “semantic based interworking and self-adaptation in smart cities“. Partners introduced a unique discovering method to foster interoperability between two smart cities using different native formats. A mediation gateway provides for each city data a semantic annotation that fuel a common repository, a standardized information source for your IoT applications. To ensure the relevancy of this repository, EGM introduced asemantic validator able to guarantee the data correctness regarding the reference ontology.
