Who are we ?

Initially focused on certification consulting and access to the international market, the company has evolved over the years. To reflect its technological shift, its name is now quite simply EGM.

Today we provide research and engineering solutions and services to accelerate the time-to-market of new information technologies.

We are strongly anchored in international R&D and standardization activities and specialize in the implementation of interoperable systems based on open standards and validated technologies.

We are constantly innovating, and our team, mainly made up of engineers, doctors and doctoral students (industrial theses) is involved in many European research projects of the Horizon 2020 framework program.

Our history

2010 - EGM IS BORN

The company is established by Philippe Cousin, capitalizing on extensive experience in international projects and advanced expertise in standardization and certification issues.

2011 - FIRST PROJECT

EGM wins its first PROBE-IT research project aimed at identifying interoperability issues in the Internet of Things domain.

2012 - EXPERTISE EXTENDED TO INTELLIGENT CITIES

EGM is starting its second EAR-IT project on the theme of acoustic sensors in urban areas. The project will allow the development of innovative solutions for the city with a system combining an intelligent audio card enabling event detection and sound control under constrained conditions.

2013 - NEW PREMISES AT THE HEART OF THE FIRST EUROPEAN TECHNOPOLE

With 3 new projects starting, the company is moving to the Business Pole in Sophia Antipolis. Franck Le Gall adds to the teams as COO, bringing his expertise in technical development and his experience in the management of industrial, multicultural R&D projects …

2014 - 100TH PARTNER FOR EGM

EGM continues to expand its networks and registers its 100th collaboration with Fi-Core, an open source platform dedicated to the world of connected objects.

2015 - EGM, 7TH MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANY IN EUROPE

Europe through its “radar innovation” places EGM 7th in Europe in terms of innovation potential. an award which crowns 5 years of existence and the 10th international research project.

2016 - NEW PREMISES AND NEW TALENT

The team grew and moved to new premises at the Espace Beethoven.

2017 - CREDIT TAX RESEARCH & INNOVATION SUPPLIER APPROVAL

EGM is developing its design office and obtaining the Research Tax Credit – Innovation Tax Credit (CIR-CII) approval, a clear advantage for our partner clients.

2018 - NEW PROJECTS, NEW PREMISES

EGM moves to its new premises to respond to the growing team, new projects and sets up a workshop for prototyping and validating IoT concepts.

2020 - Clarification of Technical positioning

On the occasion of our 10th anniversary, the graphic charter is being revised to reflect the technical shift of recent years
