Multi-trophic aquaculture

ISSUE

Create the integrated technical multi-trophic solution to optimize the production of an aquaculture farm.

SOLUTION

Implementation of a system to monitor and adapt the environment of a fish farm and ensure its performance. This system provides spatially explicit information on how the different entities of the farm interact with the environment at the ecosystem scale. This information is used for planning decisions for both farmers and regulators.

Connected weather station

ISSUE

Farmers are dependent on weather conditions for the development of their crops.

Connected weather stations now allow many measurements: soil and air temperature, cumulative precipitation, humidity, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, gusts of wind, solar radiation, leaf wetness, soil moisture, potential evapotranspiration.
